From Cape Tribulation 4WD tours up The Bloomfield Track to Wujal Wujal and Cooktown, and Private tours
D'Arcy of Daintree 4WD Tours offers you an exciting and intimate experience of the diversity around the Daintree Rainforest, along the Bloomfield Track to Wujal Wujal and Cooktown. Make the most of your visit to this wilderness paradise - a region so special that it encompasses two World Heritage areas. Here is where the rainforest meets the reef.
Whether you are staying at Cape Tribulation, Cow Bay, Port Douglas or Cairns, this is a unique opportunity for a comfortable 4WD adventure without the stress of having to drive your own 4X4 vehicle. Being a local owner operator, Mike D'Arcy offers a resident's insight into the flora, fauna, ecology and history of the area. The journey gives you great photo opportunities and breathtaking views of the rainforest and reef-fringed beaches by the Coral Sea.
A true Daintree Coast local, Mike has lots of things to show and stories to tell, including introducing you to some of the Bama (Indigenous) traditions and people. He knows the byways and special spots around the area.
Going up the Bloomfield Track, the Wonderful Wujal Wujal (Bloomfield) Falls is a half-day tour and the Cooktown tour is a full day one. Both tours depart from Cape Tribulation with free pick ups from Cow Bay, and they require only a minimun of 2 adults to be confirmed - no disappointments.
If you have your own itinerary or very specefic interests, you can discuss with Mike the possibility of a private tour.
A maximum of 7 passengers in a comfy Landcruiser series 200 keeps it all personal and very comfortable.
Come and enjoy the natural beauty of the Daintree Coast and the Bloomfield Track while supporting local businesses. We hope you leave here inspired to return and spread the message. With your help, our rainforests and reef will still be unspoiled when you visit us again.
"...Thank you for a fantastic day in Daintree. I can without a doubt say that Daintree with its rainforest was the absolute no 1 experience of our whole Australia trip. " Matt and Annika from Sweden
"Everything we saw was fascinating, most of it unknown to us previously and seeing it through Mike's eyes gave us a perspective we would not otherwise have achieved… It is one thing to "know" about a place - it is quite another to be able to communicate this to people who are not familiar with the area. Mike has this rarely encountered ability. At the end of the day we would cheerfully have done it again the next day…" Ms Janet Ward and Dr. Terrence Deague from Keppel Sands QLD.
